Is Brad Stevens really better at building a team than coaching the Xs and Os? Or are Celtics fan rushing to fast to claim Stevens as a great GM?

So for Stevens has been able to keep the Celtics core intact, while extending years on key pieces such as Marcus Smart and Robert Williams (which now looks like a great deal). In addition he has added players such as Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon, and Danilo Gallinari. with the biggest name departing is Josh Richardson.

As a coach, Stevens made the Eastern Conference Finals three out of his eight years, and left with 352-282 (.557) record in the regular season and 38-40 (.487) in the playoffs.
