Cargo ship stranded off Sydney to be salvaged today

Tests are being carried out to see if towboats will be able to safely guide a stranded cargo ship into Sydney’s port botany today. The Australian maritime safety authority says that it must be moved because the weather is expected to get worse. The New South Wales port authority hopes a window of favourable conditions will open up but insists it will take a cautious approach.
