The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have visited a statue in central Cardiff of Wales’ first black female headteacher. Betty Campbell was the headteacher of Mount Stuart Primary in the Welsh capital. She put black culture on the school curriculum and championed the nation’s multicultural heritage. Betty died in 2017 and the statue was unveiled last year. His Royal Highness met Betty during a visit to her school in 1994. Report by Jonesia.
