Puad: Muhyiddin wants to make Faizal Azumu DPM, not Azmin

Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi has alleged that Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin was lobbying for his deputy Ahmad Faizal Azumu to be appointed as deputy prime minister.

“Apparently, Muhyiddin wants Faizal to be deputy prime minister because he is the deputy president of Bersatu, not Azmin Ali.

“Surely, Azmin is angry. There will be less political stability,” wrote Puad on his Facebook page yesterday.

Puad was commenting on Muhyiddin’s admission that the latter had discussed cabinet appointments - including the vacant deputy prime minister position - with Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob recently.
