A Touching Speech was Shared by a Summa Cum Laude, Who Graduated from Far Eastern University went Viral

Matthew's story is that their family was just poor and he was a scholar so he got into his school. He said, “My brothers and I have also tried to search the stores that can lend to us whenever there is a shortage and there is nothing left in our stomachs.
“I had to be extraordinary all the time because opportunities do not come easily to poor people like me”.
He shared that at the beginning of the pandemic, her twin brother was jailed because he was accused and before his brother could win in court, his mother died because of COVID-19.
A month later, his father had a heart attack and also died. Both her parents died alone in the hospital due to the strict protocol of Covid 19.
"I always keep in my heart what mama and papa said before they passed away, that no matter what happens I will continue. I shouldn’t be affected. My brother and I chose to be brave in the midst of everything that happened because it was our parents ’dying wish.
“As a measure of hardship,. I made the language of hard work and perseverance. All my life, I’ve been dreaming. Yesterday, one of my dreams came true.
"My story is the story of the children who have dreams but were deprived of opportunities because of poverty.
"My story is the story of families who were victims of a failing justice system that jails people because they are poor.
"And for all of these stories, we have the power and a choice to be brave, to be extraordinary and to battle for the right.
"Four years ago, I chose to dream. Two years ago, I chose to be brave. And today, I chose to move forward with my head held high." Matthew shared on Facebook.
