P Chidambaram and Jairam Ramesh friday said Congress party wants to make it clear that the GST that's in force today was not the GST envisaged by UPA govt. This is a GST that is flawed, defective & unstable. The law is so defective, that govt has been forced to issue 100s of executive directions.

कांग्रेस पार्टी ने शुक्रवार को जीएसटी को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर जोरदार हमला बोला. पूर्व वित्त मंत्री और कांग्रेस नेता पी चिदंबरम ने जीएसटी में गंभीर कमियां बताई. चिदंबरम ने कहा कि जीएसटी में कई गंभीर गलतियां हैं जो पांच सालों में बदतर हुए हैं. शुक्रवार को पी चिदंबरम और जयराम नरेश ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा कि जीएसटी कानूनों और उनके कार्यान्वयन के तरीके ने अर्थव्यवस्था को बर्बाद कर दिया है.
