With the intention to save their road from being washed away due to erosion, the villagers in Nagaon came up with a smart idea to save the connecting road.

The villagers were seen using bamboo to provide foundational support to the road in order to keep it safe. The flow of River Kopili is washing away parts of the road which will hamper the village connectivity to the urban cities.

People were seen working with bamboos and a JCB machine to save the road from being eroded.
