India rejects US resolution accusing it of violating religious freedom

The US is moving a resolution against India to make it a “country of concern.” This resolution was introduced by Ilhan Omar in the House of Representatives. The report stated that the Indian government is “promoting a Hindu-nationalist agenda that negatively affects Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Dalits, and other religious minorities”.
