A Russian missile struck a busy shopping centre in Ukraine’s Kremenchuk which claimed at least 18 lives and several others injured. Zelenskyy said that around 1,000 citizens were inside the mall when the missile hit it. Plumes of smoke and flames engulfed the structure which took 300 workers 4 hours to douse. Russia has not issued any statement on the incident yet as it continues to deny targeting civilians. The attack came on the day G7 leader met to discuss further action against Kremlin. G7 leaders denounced the attack as ‘abominable’.
