A week into the political crisis that rocked the state of Maharashtra, the Supreme Court on Monday stayed the disqualification proceedings against the Eknath Shinde-led rebel MLAs till July 12, and sought responses to pleas by them questioning the legality of notices issued by the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly. Sources said Shiv Sena is mulling approaching the Supreme Court again if Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari asks MVA to go for a floor test.
