Damage bill from disasters in QLD and NSW reaches $4.8 billion

Four months on from the devastating flood disaster in Queensland and New South Wales, many residents are still living in limbo waiting for repairs and unsure when they can return home. The damage bill has reached 4.8 billion dollars making it the country's third most costly natural disaster. And with skilled trades people and building supplies in short supply the road to recovery could take years.
