Ismail Sabri conducts spot check on prices of goods

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob conducted a random spot check on the prices of goods at a supermarket in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Speaking to reporters after conducting the spot check, Ismail Sabri said he did not deny that there was an increase in the price of chicken and other raw materials before the removal of the goods subsidies.

The prime minister stressed that more series of similar spot checks will be carried out by him after this to ensure that no profiteering of goods is done by traders.
