Maharashtra Governor Koshyari seeks security for rebel MLAs, their families

Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari has written to Chief Secretary, additional chief secretary home, DGP and police commissioner of Mumbai to provide security to all MLAs and their families who are in Guwahati on an immediate basis.
In the letter, the Governor directed police officers to provide security for "38 Shiv Sena MLAs, 2 Prahar Jan Shakti Party MLAs, and 7 independent MLAs" who complained that their security cover had been "illegally and unlawfully withdrawn."
