Union Home Minister Amit on June 25 referring to SC’s judgement on 2002 Gujarat riots case said that Zakia Zafri was working on Teesta Setalvad’s instructions and UPA government supported Setalvad’s NGO to target PM Modi. During an interview with ANI’s Smita Prakash, Shah said, “Today SC said Zakia Jafri worked on someone else's instructions. NGO signed affidavits of several victims and they didn't even know.” “Everyone knows that Teesta Setalvad's NGO was doing all this. When UPA Government came to power at that time, it helped the NGO a lot,” he added.
