Since last year’s coup, the conflict in Myanmar has escalated dramatically -- exacerbated by the collapsing economy and humanitarian crisis. Efforts of the international community to seek a peaceful resolution have not brought any tangible progress, with the military regime failing to adhere to ASEAN peace plan, known as the Five-Point Consensus.
