Charles speaks of 'treasured' friendships at CHOGM opening ceremony

Prince Charles has spoken of how he “treasures” the friendships he has built with other Commonwealth nations over the last 70 years, as he represented the Queen at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Rwanda.

The Prince of Wales also looked to the future, saying: “If we are to leave the world better than we found it - and that is our duty and out privilege - must be bold with our ambition, decisive with our actions and united in our efforts.” Report by Buseld.
