Pilibhit: BJP MP Varun Gandhi has been seen standing against the government and in support of the youth regarding the Agneepath scheme from the very beginning. The Pilibhit MP has directly asked his government that if Agniveer, who has served for a short period of time, is not entitled to pension, then why is this 'convenience' being given to the public representatives. He said that I myself am ready to give up my pension so that Agniveers can get pension.

पीलीभीत: बीजेपी सांसद वरुण गांधी शुरु से ही अग्निपथ योजना को लेकर सरकार के खिलाफ और युवाओं के समर्थन में खड़े नजर आए हैं. पीलीभीत सांसद ने अपनी सरकार से सीधा सवाल किया है कि, अल्पावधि की सेवा करने वाले अग्निवीर पेंशन के हकदार नही हैं तो जनप्रतिनिधियों को यह ‘सहूलियत’ क्यों दी जा रही है. उन्होंने कहा कि, अग्निवीरों को पेंशन मिल सके इसके लिए मैं खुद अपनी पेंशन छोड़ने को तैयार हूं.
