Uddhav Thackeray Offers To Resign As Rebel Mlas Led By Eknath Shinde Stay Firm In Guwahati

On June 22, Maharashtra was in news for the many political developments taking place in the state. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray moved back to his family house ‘Matoshree’, leaving the Chief Minister’s residence ‘Varsha’ in Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray’s sons Aditya Thackeray & Tejas Thackeray and wife Rashmi Thackeray left along with him. This move by CM Thackeray came after he delivered an emotional speech through Facebook live. Rebels led by Eknath Shinde are currently in Guwahati, Assam, a BJP ruled state. During his Facebook live, CM Thackeray said, “If my own people don't want me as Chief Minister, he should walk up to me and say so... I'm ready to resign.” Watch the video to know more.
