Scientists come closer to vaccine for cytomegalovirus

Scientists in Queensland are hailing a medical breakthrough in the fight against a virus carried by half of all Australians. For most, symptoms of CMV don't develop, but for others like pregnant women it can lead to permanent hearing loss, cerebral palsy and even death in unborn babies.
