Former Finance Minister and TMC leader Yashwant Sinha has been made the Presidential candidate from the opposition side. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh announced this after a meeting of opposition leaders. He said that the opposition parties have decided to field Yashwant Sinha after discussion.

देश के पूर्व वित्त मंत्री और TMC नेता यशवंत सिन्हा को विपक्ष की ओर से राष्ट्रपति पद का उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है। कांग्रेस के नेता जयराम रमेश ने विपक्षी नेताओं की बैठक के बाद इसका एलान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विपक्षी पार्टियों ने चर्चा के बाद यशवंत सिन्हा को उम्मीदवार बनाने का फैसला किया है।
