Samirah, 2 teenagers acquitted of Cradle Fund CEO murder

Samirah Muzaffar and two teenagers were today acquitted of the murder of her husband, Cradle Fund chief executive officer Nazrin Hassan.

High Court judge Ab Karim Ab Rahman found no elements of prima facie proven against them, the New Straits Times reported.

The trio and Indonesian national, Eka Wahyu Lestari, were charged with murdering Nazrin at a house in Mutiara Homes, Mutiara Damansara between 11.30pm on June 13, 2018, and 4am the next day.

Eka Wahyu Lestari is still at large.
