A team of five friends, all around the age of thirteen, begin to realize that life is more than just riding bikes, playing soccer, and, if they're lucky, enjoying the summer. Guido follows his father's directions and is occasionally punished with a beating. Damian is an adopted child, and as a result, he goes through the standard adolescent identity crisis. Every night, Matias' enraged parents abandon him outside his home. Alejo learns that his mom has a lover, as well as the fact that women have wishes and men have shortcomings. Esteban is the football team's goalkeeper, and as such, he is the center of attention among his peers.
