The 12th class syllabus has been amended by NCERT. According to this, NCERT has removed the syllabus of Gujarat riots from Class 12 Political Science book. Apart from this, many topics like the history of Naxalite movement have also been removed, regarding this new amendment, a note has been issued on the NCERT website on Thursday, according to which 187-189 pages of the book have been removed. In these, the Gujarat riots were mentioned in detail.

NCERT की तरफ से 12वीं क्लास के सिलेबस में संशोधन किया गया है ,. इसके अनुसार NCERT ने 12वीं कक्षा की Political Science की किताब से गुजरात दंगों का पाठ्यक्रम हटा दिया है. इसके अलावा नक्सली आंदोलन का इतिहास जैसे कई टॉपिक्स भी हटाए गए हैं, इस नये संशोधन के बारे में गुरुवार को एनसीईआरटी की वेबसाइट पर एक नोट जारी किया गया है जिसके मुताबिक किताब के 187-189 पृष्ठ को हटाया गया है। इन में गुजरात दंगों का विस्तार से जिक्र था।
