Agnipath Recruitment Scheme Protests: Protests against the Modi Government's 'Agnipath' scheme for hiring jawans on a short-term contractual basis continued across Bihar for the second consecutive day today. Aspirants preparing for jobs in defence forces disrupted railway and road traffic in Jehanabad, Buxar and Nawada districts. Army aspirants demand its withdrawal. Agnipath Scheme Protest Live: सेना भर्ती के लिए मोदी सरकार की अग्निपथ योजना (Agnipath Scheme) के खिलाफ दूसरे दिन भी युवाओं ने बिहार और राजस्थान में जमकर विरोध-प्रदर्शन किया। बिहार के जहानाबाद, नवादा और सहरसा में युवाओं ने जमकर हंगामा किया। जहानाबाद में युवाओं ने काको मोड़ के पास आगजनी कर एनएच-83 और एनएच-110 को जाम कर दिया और केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर की नारेबाजी की। इधर, कुछ युवाओं ने रेलवे ट्रैक पर धरना दिया, जिससे पटना-गया लाइन पर ट्रेन सेवाएं बाधित हो गईं। इस बीच जहानाबाद में रेलवे ट्रैक जाम कर रहे छात्रों ने ट्रेन पर पथराव किया है। इस घटना में कई लोगों को चोटें आईं हैं. पत्थरबाजी जहानाबाद स्टेशन के समीप हुई, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने छात्रों को खदेड़ कर रेलवे ट्रैक को खाली कराया।
