Defense Minister Rajnath Singh announced the Agneepath scheme today in the presence of the chiefs of the three services. Under this scheme, recruitment will be done in the army for 4 years. At present, the minimum time for recruitment in the Army under Short Service Commission is 10 years.

रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने तीनों सेना के प्रमुखों की मौजूदगी में आज अग्निपथ योजना का ऐलान किया। इस योजना के तहत 4 साल के लिए सेना में भर्ती की जाएगी। फिलहाल शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन के तहत सेना में भर्ती का न्यूनतम समय 10 साल का है।
