After the grand wedding between Nayantara and Vignesh, the couple had gone to the Tirupati temple to offer prayers.

However, images of Nayantara wearing footwear inside the temple area has sparked outrage among the devotees against the couple.

While Vignesh was spotted walking barefoot, Nayantara was seen wearing sandals, which caused a massive uproar amongst devotees in the area.

Temple authorities issued a clarification saying it was permitted for devotees to wear footwear in that area.
