Passengers travelling without masks treated as “unruly”: DGCA’s new guidelines

The DGCA issued fresh guidelines for air travelers making masks mandatory in the wake of rising covid cases. DGCA added that stringent measures will be taken against violators by regarding them as “unruly” and putting them on a No-Fly list’. Hand hygiene and other prevention protocols were also emphasised under the fresh guidelines.
The active COVID-19 cases rose to 28,857 and the death count climbed to 5,24,715 with 7 deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours, according to the government data
