It appears basketball star SJ Belangel is taking his talents abroad. Korean online platform Naver News says that the Ateneo standout will sign with Daegu Kogas Pegasus for the 2022-2023 season of the Korean Basketball League.

This would mean that Belangel will forgo his last two playing years in the UAAP. Belangel is a two-time UAAP men's basketball champion with the Ateneo Blue Eagles. He is also part of the Guilas Pilipinas pool for the third window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers happening later this month.
