Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on June 05, while addressing the global initiative ‘Life Movement’, said that India’s leadership is very crucial in achieving global climate targets. Bill Gates also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the lead on the global initiative.

“I congratulate PM Modi for taking lead on this global initiative. India's leadership is crucial in achieving our global climate targets. To eliminate greenhouse gases, we need tech and cooperation of all including partnerships of public and private sectors,” said Gates.
