PM Modi reiterates importance of ‘Soil Health Cards’ at ‘Save Soil Movement’ programme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 5 attended the ‘Save Soil Movement’ program in Delhi. While addressing the program Prime Minister laid emphasis on the importance of ‘Soil Health Cards’ in changing the mindset of the farmers.
“Earlier, our farmers were not aware of soil health. To overcome this problem, a huge campaign was launched to give soil health cards to the farmers in the country. In this year's Budget, we have announced natural farming along the Ganga river corridor will be promoted,” he added.
