For the past few days, Karnataka's textbook review committee remained in controversy. the committee has been finally disbanded by Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai. The textbook review committee of the state faced massive flak first when reports suggested that it has decided to replace the chapters on Bhagat Singh with Speeches of RSS founder KB Hegdewar. Several scholars and academicians had quit opposing the saffronization of education.
