Harvey Weinstein's Rape Conviction Upheld

On June 2, a New York appeals court upheld Harvey Weinstein’s rape conviction and 23-year prison sentence, reported Associated Press. The court rejected Weinstein’s claims that the judge at his landmark #MeToo trial prejudiced him by allowing women to testify for allegations that were not part of the criminal matter, reported Associated Press. The ruling came by a five judge panel.
