Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar and Director Sashi Kiran Tikka chat about their latest film Major, the challenging aspects, why this story is important for the masses and more, in conversation with Puja Talwar.
The film Major revolves around the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who fought against terrorists and was killed in action during the 2008 attacks at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India. The film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma. The film is set to release on 3rd June 2022.
Adivi Sesh begins the interview by talking about Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and what makes this film unique. He also confessed that this film was his dream project. Saiee Manjrekar then goes on to talk about her experience while working in this film and the challenging aspects that she had to overcome. Director Sashi revealed that he wasn’t too keen on doing the film. Adivi Sesh also revealed that he made 7 trips from Hyderabad to Bangalore to convince Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents to make a movie on his life.
