(warning: distressing) Dramatic footage shows the moment a car ran over two motorcyclists in Myrtle Beach, SC—pinning one of them under the car in the process. Almost immediately, more than a dozen good Samaritans and nearby police officers rushed to the scene to lift the car, allowing the individual to escape.

'We are lucky to live and work in a community where everyone is ready to work together to help others,’ Myrtle Beach Police wrote in a Facebook post.

Both motorcyclists received attention for non-life-threatening injuries. What charges, if any, the driver might face was not specified.
