Kashmir Targeted Killings: HM needs to answer on exodus plan | ED summons Rahul & Sonia | Overview
In this episode of Overview, Senior Journalist and Founder The Public India, Anand Vardhan Singh talks about the ongoing targeted killings in Kashmir where 7 people were killed in May 2022. After the murder of a school teacher, another bank employee Vijay Kumar was shot at by an assailant. At the time of abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, Home Minister Amit Shah had told that not a single bullet was fired and the situation is under control in Jammu & Kashmir. But the situation there doesn’t seem to be fine as targeted killings are going on. Kashmiri Hindus are protesting against the Narendra Modi Government and demanding to relocate the m to Jammu. The Government has planned to move Kashmiri Hindus to a safe place and lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha has ordered not to post Government employees in remote areas and transfer them to District Headquarters.
Anand Vardhan Singh also talks about the ED summons sent to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. However, Sonia Gandhi has found Covid Positive but she will appear to ED on 8th June.
