Rain in Karachi - Karachi, being the coastal city usually has a moderate weather. However, from some years, the ratio of rain is lowered in the city. Citizens of the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan pray for the blessing of Allah. However, it is expected that this year Karachi will observe a great monsoon season. The rain is also expected on and before Eid ul Adha.
People of Karachi always warmly welcome rain; they enjoy the event with full spirit. The preparation of special dishes such as pakoras, samosas, chaat, begins in homes. However, the rain in Karachi also creates trouble for people as the rain water stuck on roads and causes traffic jams. People also face several hours of load shedding due to the tripping of feeders. Some people also lost their lives due the electric shock and other unfortunate incidents.
