Due to the increasing geopolitical scenario in Europe, benchmark indexes closed today's turbulent trading session on a negative note. The BSE Sensex index dropped 185 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 55,381, while the NSE Nifty50 index dropped 62 points, or 0.37 percent, to close at 16,523.
