The Delhi High Court on Monday said that the language of speech given by former JNU student Umar Khalid in Maharashtra's Amaravati was not correct, but it did not constitute an act of terrorism, the court arrested Khalid under the Anti-Terrorism Act on charges of conspiracy to commit violence in Delhi. This comment has been made after considering the facts of the speech given by Amaravati. The High Court is hearing Khalid's bail plea.

Delhi High Court ने सोमवार को कहा कि जेएनयू के पूर्व छात्र Umar Khalid द्वारा महाराष्ट्र के Amaravati में दिए गए भाषण की भाषा सही नहीं थी,लेकिन ये आतंकी कृत्य नहीं बनता, अदालत ने दिल्ली हिंसा की साजिश के आरोप में आतंकवाद निरोधक कानून के तहत गिरफ्तार खालिद द्वारा अमरवती में दिए गए भाषण के तथ्यों पर गौर करने के बाद यह टिप्पणी की है। उच्च न्यायालय खालिद की जमानत याचिका पर सुनवाई कर रही है।
