Cold front brings rain, snow and winds to the south-east

A strong cold front is continuing to bring heavy rain, snow and damaging winds to the south-east of Australia. Perisher Resort in teh New South Wales Snowy Mountains has annouced it will open early this season, after falls of 30 centimetres in the past 24 hours.
