Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on May 31 spoke about the state Budget in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. CM Yogi said, “Per capita income of UP was similar to that of country during independence. By 2017, it had fallen to 1/3rd of average country's per capita income. Country is growing but not state. UP has potential. We've doubled the budget this time.”
