Shared by Michael Xenofontos, this wholesome footage features him proposing to his then-girlfriend after having her convinced that they were at the historic site of Abu Simbel just for some photos.
"I had been waiting for months for this moment because of the pandemic," Michael wrote. "I used to travel a lot with my girlfriend (Aggeliki), so the wedding proposal had to be done in a special place somewhere around the world.
"Finally, when we were on the flight to Egypt, I decided to do the wedding proposal at the amazing Abu Simbel temple."
This remarkable moment occurred back in August 2021.
