Home Minister Amit Shah addresses 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi' programme in Gujarat

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday addressed the seminar of leaders of various cooperative institutions on 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi' at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.

He said, said, “Gujarat's cooperative society is praised all over India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a revolutionary decision to make a Ministry of Cooperation. Farmers producing sugarcane for sugar got direct relief of 8 thousand crores, credit goes to PM Modi.”

The programme was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The prime minister and home minister are on a Gujarat tour ahead of the assembly elections in the state. While PM Modi will visit the poll-bound state for a day, Amit Shah will stay there for two days.
