The upcoming Disney Plus original series, which is created and executive produced by Jonathan Kasdan (Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Wendy Mericle (Arrow, Vixen), takes place over 30 years after the events of the original film and finds Willow living a simpler and quieter life. That's until he is called back to action for another quest, which requires his expertise in magic.

The series also stars Erin Kellyman (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ellie Bamber (The Serpent), Tony Revolori (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown), Amer Chadha-Patel (The Third Day), and Dempsey Bryk. Joanne Whalley also returns to reprise her original "Willow" role as Sorsha.

Willow is set to premiere later in the year on November 30, exclusively on Disney+.
