The Mamata government of West Bengal has taken a big decision, under this decision, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will now replace the Governor and become the Vice-Chancellor of all the government universities of the state. State Education Minister Bratya Basu said that this decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Thursday.

West Bengal की Mamata government ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है, इस फैसले के तहत मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी अब राज्यपाल की जगह राज्य के सभी सरकारी विश्वविद्यालयों की कुलपति बन जाएंगी, इसे लेकर अब जल्द ही बंगाल विधानसभा में संशोधित बिल पेश किया जाएगा. प्रदेश के शिक्षा मंत्री ब्रत्य बसु ने बाताय कि गुरुवार को हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में यह फैसला लिया गया ,
