Ambulance wait times and calls for help are stubbornly high in New South Wales as COVID and the flu put significant pressure on parademics across the country. Ambulance New South Wales attended 116-thousand call-outs in April down slightly from January's Omicron wave but still above pre-pandemic levels. Gary Wilson says first-responders are close to breaking point.
