बिहार में अब शराब पीने और शराब बेचने वालों पर सरकार कड़ी कार्रवाई करने के मूड में आ चुकी है. यही वजह है कि बिहार सरकार शराब पीने वालों और उसके व्यापार में लगे हुए लोगों को सरकारी योजनाओं से प्रतिबंधित करने की तैयारी में है. ऐसे लोगों को चुनाव लड़ने से भी प्रतिबंधित करने पर विचार चल रहा है. इसको अमल में लाने के लिए मद्य निषेध विभाग ऐसे लोगों पर सख्ती करने की तैयारी में है.
