The central government has announced to reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel. The central government has decided to reduce the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 and on diesel by Rs 6 per liter. With this, petrol will be cheaper by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7 per liter. After this decision, now the ball has come in the court of the states. After which Kerala and Rajasthan have also decided to cut VAT rates.

लगातार बढ़ती पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतों (pwtrol diesel price) के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने आम लोगों को बड़ी राहत दी है. central government ने पेट्रोल और डीजल पर एक्साइज ड्यूटी कम करने का एलान किया है। केंद्र सरकार ने पेट्रोल पर 8 रुपए और डीजल पर 6 रुपए प्रति लीटर excise duty घटाने का फैसला किया है। इससे पेट्रोल 9.50 रुपए और डीजल 7 रुपए प्रति लीटर सस्ता होगा। इस फैसले के बाद अब गेंद राज्यों के पाले में आ गई है. जिसके बाद केरल और राजस्थान (kerala rajasthan) ने भी वैट की दरों में कटौती करने का फैसला किया है।
