The political board is being laid for the elections to be held on 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. On the basis of the number of MLAs, it is believed that BJP will get 7 seats and Samajwadi Party 3 seats, while there will be a tussle between both the parties for one seat. In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, SP President and former CM Akhilesh Yadav can take the step of sending Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary to Rajya Sabha from his quota.

उत्तर प्रदेश की में 11 राज्यसभा सीटों पर होने वाले चुनाव के लिए सियासी बिसात बिछाई जाने लगी है. विधायकों की तादाद के आधार पर 7 सीटें भाजपा और 3 सीटें समाजवादी पार्टी को मिलना तय माना जा रहा है, जबकि एक सीट के लिए दोनों ही दलों के बीच खींचतान होगी. 2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव को देखते हुए सपा अध्यक्ष और पूर्व सीएम अखिलेश यादव अपने कोटे से राष्ट्रीय लोक दल प्रमुख जयंत चौधरी को राज्यसभा भेजने का कदम उठा सकते हैं।
