The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the recommendations of the GST council will not be binding on the Centre and States. LPG cooking gas prices crossed the 1000 rupee mark. It now costs Rs 1,005 per cylinder in Karnataka. The Supreme Court sentenced Navjot Singh Sidhu to one year imprisonment for a 1988 road rage case.
