Tibet Airlines Plane Veers Off Runway, Catches Fire After Aborted Takeoff At Chongqing Airport

On May 12, a Tibet Airlines aircraft caught fire after it veered off the runway at a Chinese airport, reported AFP. As per an AFP report, all the passengers and crew on the flight were safely evacuated, the airline said. The aircraft was carrying 113 passengers and nine crew members. Videos and pictures, which have gone viral, show flames engulfing the nose and one wing of the jet. The videos show passengers running away from the scene. Watch the video to know more.
